Sexual health in multipartner networks

Source evidence review: 2026-10-26. Source links are provided for transparency; guidance can change.

Two threads crossing through a network of people — the collection's view of shared sexual health.

WEAVEWELL / REFERENCE COLLECTION

A practical, evidence-based reference for prevention, testing, treatment and partner communication.

For sexually active adults, including people participating in consensual nonmonogamy, kink, group sex and sex-party communities. Risk is described through the infection, contact, anatomy and prevention measures - not assigned from an identity label.

The central position

Most sexual-health care is calm, practical and routine. Barriers, vaccination, prevention medicine when it fits, and testing when there is a reason to all help. A positive result is information to interpret accurately, not a judgement about who acquired what from whom. [01][08][28][38][61][64]

What it is; transmission with and without barriers; treatment; specific next steps.

History; biological and clinical impact; a compact risk or probability table.

How numbers are presented

A transmission estimate is provided only when there is a defensible source and a clear denominator. "Not reliably quantified" is not zero risk. Partner-count tables estimate contact with a partner who has the specified laboratory finding; they do not estimate acquisition.

Expanded Mgen and Ureaplasma coverage, linked references, full calculation tables and an alphabetical index are included.

Edition 2 | Evidence review: 26 October 2026 | General education, not individualized diagnosis or prescribing. Independent clinical review is required before app publication. Guideline differences are identified where they change practical advice.
